How to Get Weapons in Hold the Last Line
Chests, shop stalls, key tickets, and the Mystic Ancient cap — without abandoning the line.
Guns in Hold the Last Line come from four places players actually show on video: the starter rifle in your hands, marked chests, a shop stall that sells weapons, and event shops that take Snowflake Coins. Sixcube still advertises seven weapons plus god-roll affixes. This page names only the sources and the upgrade cap that public sessions confirm. It will not invent a seventh marketing name to fill a grid.
Read Getting Started if you have not claimed the daily gift. Use Controls for E, B, and Equip Best. Rank what you keep on the weapon tier list. The fail condition is still the line: public footage shows hearts on the ground when a monster crosses the line. A new gun does not matter if the porch is empty.
Starter rifle, then chests
You spawn with a rifle. It is enough for early ground zombies. Do not drop it because a teammate is waving a shiny case. Follow the on-screen arrow to a marked chest. Interact with E. Confirmed early pulls: Nightblade pistol, bow-and-arrow, sniper rifle, and other rolls. Opening is not equipping. Press B, hit the green Equip Best control, then look back at the house.
If Equip Best refuses the new bow, the compare thinks your rifle is stronger. That is a roll, not a broken chest. Compare after the match on the affix tier list. Do not open a sniper case while a giant arm is already on the tiles. Spend during a lull. Details on lanes live on the map layout.
Shop stall and key tickets
Public how-to footage shows a stall where you can buy weapons and a separate upgrade point. Key tickets drop from play and feed that upgrade. One older session asked for ten keys before the machine would work. The same how-to clip names Mystic Ancient as the highest upgrade you can push a gun to. Treat that as the cap players talk about, not as a studio drop table. You still have to stand at the stall. The stall does not pause waves.
A practical order:
- Claim the daily reward in the spawn room.
- Hold the line until coins and key tickets drop.
- Open one marked chest. Equip Best.
- If you have tickets, walk to the upgrade during a lull and push toward Mystic Ancient on the gun you actually shoot.
- Return to a lane that still sees the door. How to Play is the loop.
Do not dump every ticket into a trophy you never equipped. Do not shop while hearts are already on the ground.
Event currencies are not chest luck
Winter Festival Snowflake Coins come from winter mobs. A how-to clip shows snowmen paying five, eight, or ten snowflakes per kill. Gingerbread figures drop them too. Spend those coins on the limited Snow Gun (a heavy shotgun / cannon style in that session) before you gamble the rest. Rules for that stall are on Winter Festival. Ice-dragon weapons belong to Frost Dragon’s Advent. Lunar New Year 1.3.1 advertised AOE weapons and red envelopes on Lunar New Year. Easter Eggstravaganza listed a Golden Carrot Carbine and Egg Launcher on Easter Eggstravaganza.
Event guns rotate. A chest Nightblade does not. Farm the stall that is actually in your lobby. If the stall is missing, you are on a normal night.
